Major Priorities 2023-24
To Maintain high standards whilst ensuring that the Progression Code and Progression Steps underpin all planning , teaching, learning and assessments. This will be through the following Priorities
Standards
1. To improve standards in spelling throughout the school
Continue to improve standards in mathematics with a focus on authentic learning
Continue to build and improve Welsh oracy through out the school
2. Continue to embrace the Well being curriculum with a focus on attendance , well- being in mental health and embedding the RSE curriculum
3. Teaching and Learning To ensure teaching is consistently good throughout the school and ensure that the learning experiences strengthen and promote independent learning .
4.Care Support and guidance To continue to embed effective ALN provision to support all learners in line with ALN transformation in Wales.
5. Leadership To improve the strategic leadership of the Governing Body
To continue to develop the role of senior leaders and to ensure accountability at all levels.
