The aim of the Free Breakfast in Primary Schools scheme is to provide our pupils with a healthy breakfast before the start of the school day. Children who have the opportunity to eat a healthy and nutritious breakfast prior to the start of the school day are healthier and are more likely to achieve their full educational potential.
It is important that you tell our school before your child has free breakfasts if he or she has any special dietary needs, including allergies and intolerances. We will then make sure that all the people who supervise the free breakfasts are aware of this.
The club is based in the hall and runs from 8:15am - 9am. The club is supervised by members of staff. We have a meet and greet at the school office enterance where a member of staff will welcome your child. When the children have finished their breakfast, they can play games and join in activities which are provided. Once Brekafast club is finished, they will be escorted to their class.
